Yes, we process your cards. We also show you what every swipe actually cost, which card network rule set the price, and what you can do about it.
Works with the countertop terminals and POS systems you already run. Built by an operator who processes about $6 million a year in cards across eight retail stores.
Illustrative Visa rates. Your statement shows the exact category for every transaction.
Visa and Mastercard set hundreds of interchange categories, each with its own rate. Tiered pricing sorts all of them into three buckets that your processor defines, then bills you the bucket rate. You never see the real cost or the markup.
The processor does. A rewards card that costs 1.65% at interchange can be billed as mid-qualified at 2.49%. Nothing in the network rules requires that.
Keyed-in numbers, late batch settlement, missing AVS, and premium rewards cards all cost more at interchange. Some of those you control. We tell you which.
We pass interchange and network fees through at cost and add one published markup. Every line on your statement names its real category.
One number up top: what processing cost you as a percentage of sales. Under it, your card mix, every fee in plain English, and the reason behind anything that cost more than it should have.

Card network costs pass through at exactly what the networks charge. Our markup sits on top, the same for every card, and never changes without 30 days' written notice.
We map every line to its real interchange category, find the markup hidden in your tiers, and tell you what the same month would have cost on Assay. No sales call required.
